Hi, I’m Stephen Weiss, the owner of LaFrance Cleaners. I’d like to welcome you to our website and take just a moment to share a bit of our story.

My family has owned and operated LaFrance Cleaners in the Mahoning Valley since 1945. LaFrance was started by my grandfather, Ernest Weiss in 1945 just as World War II was coming to an end. Then in 1958 my father, Bernie Weiss joined the business after attending Ohio State. I began working in the business for my dad as a teenager. After college at Miami University, I moved away but in 1986 I came back to help my family and in 2001 I purchased the business. Throughout our many years and three generations we have seen a lot of change in The Mahoning Valley and have lived through many of the challenges that our community has experienced.

At LaFrance, we have survived and thrived because we work hard every day to foster a relationship of trust with you, our friends, and neighbors.
Being a small business owner is always a challenge. I know that we must work hard every day to deliver a quality product and an exceptional experience. My staff and I strive to do the very best for you because, unlike most cleaners, we truly value long-term relationships.
